Speech : Essential Skills Happenings

The special education team at Northeast Elementary is dedicated to the advancement of each student in our program.  I am excited to work closely with the essential skills teachers to promote optimal communication in the classroom.  We are excited to introduce some new voice output communication devices to our nonverbal students.  Communication is the key!

Parent Share Group
  Following are the themes for the Parent Share Group held at Earlywood Education Center on the fourth Monday of each month from 6:30-8:30pm:


September 22nd - Article 7 Review
October 27th - Least Restrictive Environment
November 24th -State Resources, Waivers, Etc
December - No Meeting
January 26th - Working on Home Behaviors
February 23 - Communication Ideas
March 23 - To Be Determined
April 18th - SUPER SATURDAY
